Congratulations to our GAARRC 2013 Award Winners
4/26/2013 GAARRC 2013 was a great success. Five our residents presented at the conference, Scott Friedman, Jamie Hardeman, Timothy Ku, Oscar Rodriguez and Nicole Weiss. They all did an outstanding job and should be congratulated. A special congratulations to Jamie Hardeman, who received 1st Place Award in the Case Report Category and may have an opportunity to attend IARS as part of the "prize" AND to Nicole Weiss, who received the 2nd Place Award for Literature Review. These two talented women doctors did an outstanding job and well-represented the Department of Anesthesiology at Tulane University. There were more than 100 residents who participated and three categories, Case Reports, Literature Review, and Original Research. The majority of the presentations, more than 80 % were in the first two categories, so it was indeed very competition. Please congratulate our Residents when you see them for a GREAT JOB! |

Winning Team
May 12th, 2011 Members of the Tulane University Cycling Association presented to Tulane President Scott Cowen the recently won trophy from the South Central Collegiate Cycling Conference Division II Championship. It was the team’s first year of competition. As the May 6 presentation was taking place at Gibson Hall on the uptown campus, one of the club members, Allie Hurst, was competing in the USAC Collegiate Road National Championships in Madison, Wis. >> |
